Sybille Grote

1961-09-20 2006-05-01
GROTE Sybille entered into eternal peace and ascended the stairway to Heaven on May 1, 2006. She was born September 20, 1961 in Melbourne Australia to Udo and Ingrid Grote. At a young age, her family immigrated by ship to the United States taking up residence in the Bay Area of northern California. One of her most memorable sights was seeing the Golden Gate Bridge for the first time as they were entering San Francisco Bay. Her family lived in Orinda, California where she graduated from high school. She enjoyed growing up hearing the sights and sounds of the Bay Area with her many friends, especially being with her best friend, Major, her dog and riding her horse Selena. After graduation, she worked as a licensed cosmetologist and excelled at everything she did. She discovered that her passion was being behind the wheel of a commercial truck and loved the responsibility. That passion brought her to northern Nevada where she worked as a drive, enjoying the area and many friends who were privileged to know her. Most recently she worked for Harco Trucking, LLC as a "Real Estate Relocator". She worked on some of the largest highway and construction projects, both residential and commercial in the northern Nevada area.

She is survived by her mother Ingrid Miller, father Udo Grote and sister Michelle Grote. There are also many family members in Germany who will miss her deeply, and of course, her loving companion and soul mate who submitted this, Pat.
