HUGHES, Matthew Gaines - Accidentally in Orinda, June 1, 1983; aged 22 yrs.; dearly beloved son of Beale McGuire Hughes of Moraga and Alan G. Hughes of Huntington Beach; loving brother of Lydia Michaela Hughes and Alison Hughes of Moraga; grandson of Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Hughes of Oakland and the late Dr. and Mrs. John J. McGuire of S.F.; also survived by loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 

A gathering of his friends held privately, Saturday, June 4. His ashes will be scattered on Mount Diablo. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
